I love writing, drawing, dancing, reading and music. Notice I didn't say magic. I have seen David Copperfield but unfortunately, I watched a TV special two years before I saw him. The show I saw in Toronto was the exact same show and there was no surprises.
I found out about Criss through a friend having him on her signature pic. My first thought, a guy that good looking is just a model. I used to be one so this is no slur on that, it's just you expect models to be perfect looking and he was.
My friends were discussing him one day and I didn't make the connection of picture and subject matter. When I asked them about it they said it was the guy in the picture, so I decided to google him.
That is when I found so much about him. That he was a master magician who never repeated tricks at shows, a musician and singer, an actor, a dancer, a martial arts student and so forth. I was like holy crap, all my favorite things! Everyone lets be honest, looks aren't everything. This guy had character.
Then I found out from getting his second series for Christmas that he was so much more. A humanitarian, a strong family person and a person who preached on believing in and knowing yourself. Let's say I was totally impressed.
This is a guy who deserves to be talked about in a positive manner.
So here I am, to promote a worthy person in the world that has become unworthy. May we all be as generous, passionate about our lives, loving and giving as him.
